We recommend Cryotherapy before Hyperbaric Therapy.
Cryotherapy increases circulation and enriches blood cells, allowing a perfect pairing of optimized oxygenation to the cells.
Our Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHbOT) involves a pressure protocol up to 1.3 Atmosphere Absolute (ATA) , or 4 Pressure per square inch (psi). This pressure increase is mild and similar to what may be experienced at sea level.
Is HbOT good for children? Yes! Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a comfortable and non-invasive therapy that provides the same benefits to children as adults. HbOT infuses a child’s entire body with pure & pressurized oxygen while blood carries oxygen to nourish tissues, cells, muscles, and organs. A guardian must accompany children under 12 years old.
Is HBOT good for the elderly? Yes. Hyperbaric therapy may be very beneficial to older individuals and may help reduce the effects of aging.
How long does a session last? At bR3 Studio, we offer 60 or 90 minute sessions.
How many sessions are needed? Chronic health conditions typically requires a minimum of 30-40 treatments for lasting results. Acute conditions (soft tissue injury, post-stroke within a month, etc.) may notice results 10-20 sessions.
Is mHbOT safe? Yes! Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is safe. While most clients may easily become accustomed to pressurization and depressurization, there is a risk of ear / sinus discomfort. Discomfort is usually temporary and ceases after the initial dive ends (similar to an airplane descent). The bR3 Studio team members assist guests in avoiding ear/sinus pain by carefully regulating the speed of compression/decompression to the needs of each guest. What should I wear when attending a mHbOT session? Loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. Note: hearing aids, metal-framed eyeglasses, hard contact lenses, jewelry, watches, dentures, and other prosthetic devices cannot be taken into inside. All sharp items must be removed before entering.
What can I bring in with me during my sessions? We recommend bringing your favorite reading material, watching your favorite show, or even enjoying a refreshing nap!
All small handheld electronics devices including: cell phone, tablet, laptop, kindle, headphones, and ipod/mp3. Please note: all sharp items must be removed before entering and food is not allowed. Water is permitted inside.
