Our Full Body Cryo session is a cold therapy that temporarily lowers the top layer of the skin to subzero temperatures. Your session lasts between one to three minutes (the longer the better!) During the process, the skin sends signals to the brain, which stimulate physical reactions and activates naturally occurring healing resources. The body naturally reheats to its external temperature shortly after the session.

Targeted Area Cryo
Our Targeted Area Cryotherapy session is a non-invasive cold therapy that reaches subzero temperatures thereby reducing inflammation within a specific area of focus. Targeted Area Cryo condenses the same benefits of our Whole Body Cryo session into a smaller portion. The targeted area is particularly beneficial for the extremities, as well as certain areas of focus that are cause of concentrated pain.
Who may use Cryotherapy? Cryotherapy is ideal for most everyone, including athletes seeking muscle recovery, people with chronic pain and inflammatory conditions, and those seeking weight loss and skin rejuvenation. Cryotherapy may also be used post-surgically to accelerate the healing process and reduce pain without the potential side effects of pain medications and anti-inflammatory drugs. Younger clients under the age of 18, can use Cryotherapy with a parent’s consent. Come in today to see which of our services will benefit you!
Is Cryotherapy safe? Yes, Cryotherapy has been utilized in Europe for over 30 years without major adverse reactions. All of our staff members are well trained and versed in all our services.
Is the nitrogen used dangerous to my health? Nitrogen is a non-toxic gas so it is perfectly safe. In fact, the air we breathe is made up of 78% Nitrogen. Furthermore, your head remains outside the chamber, reducing the amount of nitrogen inhaled.
How many Cryotherapy sessions are recommended for optimal Results? Recommendations vary depending on your condition, but we recommend a series of at least 3-5 treatments in close succession initially, for optimal results.
What do I wear inside the Cryosauna? Just your undergarments. Males are required to wear underwear. For females, undergarments are optional. Bras should not include an underwire. We recommend the least amount of clothes as possible for the best results. We will provide a robe for your privacy, gloves, socks, and slippers to protect the extremities. Additionally, all jewelry must be removed before a session.
Will I feel any discomfort during my session? The Cryosauna uses gaseous nitrogen so it is cool, dry air. Many guests admit that they anticipate the treatment to be far worse than it actually is. In fact, nearly all of our guests report feeling very invigorated during & after a session. As always, you may pause or end your session at any time.
Are there any activity restrictions after Full Body Cryo? No restrictions. After warming up, about 5 min after your session, you are ready to go about the rest of your day! We recommend lymphatic exercise or a sauna session right after to flush out excess toxins should you desire.
Do I exercise before or after Full Body Cryo? Yes! It is safe either way. If you exercise before Full Body Cryo you may experience increased energy and greater recovery due to the reduction in inflammation. If you exercise after Full Body Cryo, you might experience a higher pain tolerance and more energy.
What if I am often cold or get cold easily? Since the cold from Full Body Cryo only penetrates the surface of the skin, you will experience a chill to the outer surface of your body. Your vital organs, muscles and tissues will all remain at their normal body temperature. Cryotherapy improves circulation throughout the body and stimulates production of brown fat, so your future ability to tolerate cold should improve.
Can I catch a cold from Full Body Cryo? No. In terms of infectious illnesses it is the contraction of germs that make you sick, not cold weather itself. You must come in contact with rhinoviruses to "catch" a cold or you would need to be infected with influenza viruses to contract the flu. Full Body Cryo lasts up to 3 minutes and does not require much time for the skin to warm.
Do I have to take a shower before or after a session? Showering is not necessary before or after cryotherapy. The entire procedure is dry and does not make your skin wet. However, your skin MUST be dry for a Cryotherapy session.
